As of July 1, 2026, Pekka Potinkara will start in his new role as CEO of ASIA - Association for Professionals and Managers.

 Potinkara currently works as the Service Director of ASIA. He has had a long career in leadership roles across various sports organizations. Potinkara has served, among other positions, as Executive Director of Finnish Coaches Association, Professional Coaches of Finland SAVAL, and LiikU.

"The board is extremely pleased that key positions within ASIA are filled from within our own ranks. I consider this one of our organization’s most significant strengths," says Ralf Holmlund, Chairman of the ASIA Board.

ASIA’s current CEO, Mats Nyman, will assume his new role as CEO of Eläkesäätiöyhdistys ESY ry in autumn 2026.
